  • close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
  • frontline workers in a social care setting

More information on the flu vaccine is available on the 'Flu vaccine' NHS website

Flu Clinics

With the above in mind, we will be holding clinics in September for Children aged 2-3 years & Pregnant women (note; school aged children will have their flu provided by their school programme).

The majority of pregnant women will be invited in the coming weeks to attend mid-week afternoon clinics in September with self-booking links for patients to choose their own appointment.  Children aged 2-3 years will be invited to attend a Saturday clinic in September specifically for 2-3 year olds. Invitations will be sent via a self-book link.  Should you be unable to book using the link, reception will be able to book you in however, we ask you to contact us on our designated flu line which is open every week day between 4:30pm and 6:30pm - 01403 330 266, Option 7.

Strating from October we will be holding clinics (including Saturday clinics) for all those who are eligible. Invitations will be sent as above in the next few weeks. If you are also eligible for a COVID vaccine and would like this done, these can be given at the flu clinics alongside the flu vaccine.

Please bear in mind, it is extremely helpful to General Practice if you get your flu vaccine from us at Park Surgery.

Non-urgent advice: COVID-19 Vaccination Information

This post aims to be a place for all COVID-19 information to ensure you're ready for the winter season.

If you would like a COVID & Flu vaccination then you should book into the clinics (unless you would like these on separate days). If you are invited for both flu and COVID vaccinations but would only like one, you can still book into a Flu clinic.

Housebound & Care home patients

We will be contacting housebound patients to arrange a suitable time to attend to give the vaccination. We will also be providing the COVID & Flu vaccination to all care home residents eligible.
