Test Results

Dr.iQ is now powered by Evergreen. This means that test results can be viewed in the Evergreen Life app.

Please make sure that you only use the links or QR codes on this page to download the Evergreen Life app if you are registered at Park Surgery.

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.

Once we have reviewed your test results, you can view them in your Evergreen Life app or NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App).

Click here to download the Evergreen Life app on your mobile device or scan the QR code below.

You can also phone or visit us between 11am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are. Our team will let you know during your test how long you will have to wait for the results.

Blood Tests

Where to get your blood test

Blood tests are not performed at the surgery. There are several places you can go to get your bloods taken, these are outlined below.

You’ll need the paper copy of the blood form with you.

Please note, they may close 30 minutes early if busy.

The Phlebotomy Clinic at Crawley Hospital (Walk-in)

Children Assessment Unit, East Surrey Hospital (Appointment Only)

Please call 01737 768511 followed by the extension 2866 or 2865.

Fasting blood test

If you are having a fasting blood test you should fast for 12 hours before your test. We advise you to not eat anything after 8pm the previous night.

You MUST, however, continue to drink plain water (but not tea/coffee/fruit juice etc). Dehydration makes it difficult to take your blood.

You may want to bring a snack with you to eat following your fasting blood test.

Bring your medication with you if you are a diabetic so that you can take it immediately after the blood test.

Typical fasting blood tests are:

Blood glucose – used to test for diabetes.

Iron – used to diagnose iron deficiencies.

Laboratory specimens

Specimens must be left with reception before 11.30 and all bottles must be clearly labelled and sealed in a plastic bag. Insufficient labelling will result in the specimen being refused by the lab and another sample taken. The reception team will be happy to help you make sure it is correct before it is sent off to the lab.
