Accessing your Doctor or Nurse
If the doctor you are registered with is not available, you will be offered an alternative. You can see any Doctor and it doesn't necessarily have to be your registered GP.
You may leave a message for your Doctor or Nurse and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Queries may not be responded to on the same day. Contact 111 for medical advice.
Please note that we have 9 staff answering the telephone in the mornings and that we can take over 1,000 calls within the first hour especially on a Monday morning! Because we have so many staff answering the phones this means that even if you are told you are e.g. 36th in the queue, you should be answered after the equivalent of only another 4 calls have been responded to.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
