When We Are Closed

  • Telephone 111 if you need medical attention out of hours – your call will be triaged and passed to the most suitable unit
  • For GP services between 8am—8pm: Crawley Health Centre is open 365 days a year , including all bank holidays and offers a range of services, including health information and advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses and injuries.  It provides a walk-in service to people who need to be seen on the day.

  • Crawley Hospital also has an Urgent Treatment Centre (open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year) which is for patients with injuries or illnesses such as cuts that need stitching or dressing, sprains and strains of muscles and joints, minor bone fractures - such as broken ankles or wrists, superficial burns, removal of foreign bodies, skin complaints such as rashes and bites and stings.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
